[At midday on the twelfth, Masumi jumps onto the ICP with a rather lengthy message.]

Alright, first off, what was up with that colours of the void thing? I tried to look, but all I got for it was a headache.

[She sighs, thinking back to the mission before continuing.]

Related to whatever that was and the mission, I'd like to know if there's any way to improve my resistance to illusions. I know they're fake, but that's not good enough when they're trying to get into my head and make me think they're real. Anything would be helpful.

[And then, after a moment-]

This last thing is more for anyone familiar with Medical, but I might as well ask about it now since I'm already here. I've been meaning to start HRT and need to know what I would have to do for that here. I'm hoping that I won't have to buy estrogen from the train shop, but I'll do it if I have to.

[Ayumi taps her hand with her fist, a lightbulb clearly lighting up above her head.]

I'm not sure about those first two things, but I should be able to help with that last one! Well, kind of. I remember enough of the spell Tamamo used to help you and Ki-chan get the bodies you wanted back home, and while I don't think I'm powerful enough to have it take permanently like how she worked it out, with enough preparation I should be able to make it last for at least a week.

I-If you're interested, of course! Sorry if I'm presuming, haha...

[Whatever Masumi was expecting, it wasn't that. You can see her considering this surprise for a few moments.

On the one hand, it's only a week. But on the other hand, it's a solid week of what pretty much sounds like magic hrt.]

Yeah! It's a pretty difficult spell, but I should be able to manage it at least for a little way.

[Maybe. Hopefully.

...realizing that she's going to have to add a caveat, Ayumi starts blushing furiously.]

But, um. Just so you know, since you got pretty upset about it back home. It's, um. Not going to make your... chest... any bigger. Sorry, I just don't want you to be disappointed when it happens. Or, um. Doesn't happen.

[Ah. There’s the catch. Admittedly it’s a disappointment to know, but it’s not a dealbreaker.]

Darn it, I was hoping it would help with that. I’m still all for it, but that’s unfortunate.

[At least now she has forewarning?]

Ahaha... well, it kinda ruined the moment of euphoria for you when Tamamo broke the news in Chaldea, so I figured I'd at least give you advance warning...

[Shaking her head, Ayumi moves on.]

It'll take some time to prepare, and some details are probably too, um, private, to talk about over the network like this. Do you want to meet up in person to discuss it?

Thanks for the heads up, then. I'll keep it in mind.

[At least now she can keep her expectations in check.]

Yeah, I'm willing to take this off the ICP and meet up in the quiet carriage to talk about this. Meet up there?

[When Masumi arrives, Ayumi is already there, tongue sticking out slightly as she writes kanji on long, thin scraps of paper with a brush.]

Oh, hey, Masumi! [she says, somewhat stiltedly. Ayumi is trying her best to not be awkward about this. She is failing.

Listen, the ritual primarily involves making someone's below-parts literally fall off and Ayumi is almost. Despite hanging out with pirates, she never quite got rid of that sense of propriety.]

[Yeah, she notices that awkwardness. Just what is this going to involve?]

Hey, Ayumi. How exactly is this going to work?

[Masumi tries to read the papers as she speaks, wondering if they have something to do with this plan.]

[The language is archaic and the calligraphy makes it even harder to read, but something about... below...?

Ayumi's face is bright red.]

There's, um. Really no way to say this nicely but, er.

...the spell makes your, um, below parts fall off, and gives you new ones with all the hormones to match.

...Ah.

[Masumi abruptly looks very briefly alarmed by this, but manages to mostly recover.]

This isn't going to hurt, is it? [She'll still go through with it, she's just checking.]
