[ His sense kicks in for all of the point two seconds it takes for Kumoko to teleport over to him and then goes back to normal. He looks over at her, A song playing from the speakers of his his laptop. ]

Hey Charlotte!

[ He greets, pausing his music and takes his attention off his file browsing. ]

No internet, but I've got like... so much on here. Can't get on anything on steam though-well, like... one or two things but most everything I have there is an online game.

[kumoko]

[ Oh! Ohh!! That's one of those trendy American songs, isn't it! Some of her classmates listened to those, sometimes! Turns out you're a trendsetter, Peter? She feels a bit betrayed... ]

'Any fighting games? Martial arts? Do you have any popular anime?'

[ Hardly. He's pretty much a class A Nerd. But he's still allow to like the popular music. ]

All that stuff needs the WiFi.

[ He sighs. ] But I have some other games on here-mostly puzzle games though. An I mean, I can make some SIMS get into a fight if you wanna see that.

[kumoko]

[ They're just gonna have to live with this cultural misunderstanding forever.

She's nodding along to his suggestions, happy to see either just as long as she can bask in the aura of a computer, so it's up to him to decide which one he thinks she's agreeing to. ]

[ He just shrugs and turns back to his sims game. Time to make some sims get in a fight... let's see... how about the good ole fashioned 'imply mother was a lama.' option. ]

[kumoko]

[ As per their usual routine whenever he has something entertaining, she spends the next minute arranging herself in the webbing around him, so she can 1. be comfy, 2. see the screen and 3. be able to get his attention if she needs to weave something.

And then she's completely engrossed, like a toddler being handed a tablet for the first time. ]

[ Peter is successful in having his sim insult the other. Little Red negative signs appear before their heads and the two sins bicker in simmlish. ]

Okay, what next? Talk down to? Shove or uh... scare?

[kumoko]

[ Too lazy to write anything, she reaches over his shoulder to prod at 'scare'. Of course that's the obvious choice!

Oh, oh. ]

'You should make the train'

[ And scare it is. Which is a little ridiculous considering the one SIM just 'sneaks' behind the one he was just arguing with and scares him. Somehow it seems to work and the other SIM reacts like he was scared and there is even more negative signs. ]

I guess I could do like... a town dedicated to the train but I think there's too many here now-they'd never all fit into one house.

[kumoko]

'Do that then'

[ she tries to hit the volume button a little, curious about whether the train will translate Simmlish, and mostly just succeeds at sliding off the keys. Foiled! But wait! She flicks a tiny blob of thread onto Peter's index finger and marionettes him over to Volume+ hopefully. ]

[ Peter just shrugs because sure, he can do that. none of them will have their powers but whatever. ]

[ He makes a small noise of alarm when she shoots a small bit of webbing but it doesn't last long and he just turns the volume up-amazingly the simlish does get caught in the translator but it's a little borked and to Peter it sounds like really bad English. He's still impressed though because- ]

Holy Shit! The train translates simlish!

[kumoko]

[ Well...! She makes an unsettled chittering noise at the broken stream of nonsense Japanese coming from the computer. This translation effect...... is really OP, isn't it? ]

[ Super OP. ]

[ He moves to make one of the sims cook mac and cheese due to their falling hunger meter. ]

[kumoko]

[ His finger is briefly kidnapped to turn the volume back down. Simlish is weird and they've dug too deep. ]

'Do you have any movies?'

[ Peter just sighs because man does he wish he had access to Netflix or Amazon Prime or even Hulu right now. ]

No, no movies. Just some games and I can't even play the best ones without an internet connection.

'Play what you want, then'

[ Subdued by this grand failing on his part but still riding the absolute high of looking at a computer screen, she settles down properly, brings out some snacks, and relaxes to what is basically a Let's Play stream for a viewership of one. ]
