[Casper appears on the network with a grin, waving at the screen. But he’s not alone this time - Raven’s with him. ... Which is why he’s standing back a bit so his face doesn’t take up the whole screen.]
Hey there! Casper and Raven here - uh, for the new people, I’m Casper. She’s Raven. We have something we’ve been working on that we’re ready to share.
A lot of people on this train have trouble sleeping for various reasons. I’ve got a few different methods of helping with the bad sleep. One of which was inspired by one of Casper’s ideas, which is why we’re doing this together.
We thought we’d help out. I know a lot of people here have enough trouble with nightmares that they don’t want to sleep, so we both have things for each room. Raven has her… uh. Why don’t you explain yours?
There’s melatonin capsules in Medical to help regulate your day and night cycle, I have some teas and infusions, along with sachets, and the last relates to Casper’s idea.
On my previous travels I... picked up an ability to make something called dreamcatchers. Which I know are a thing some of you might have heard of, but it’s different. Sort of. It absorbs the nightmares of those around it and emits a kind of passive magic regeneration. You can also pull magic from it directly, too - I can show you how if that applies to you. And please do, since they do have a limit. Oh, and I made them look like little plush stars... because it's cute...
Based on his version of a Dreamcatcher, I’ve done something similar but using amethyst crystal globes as the base. They’ll do the same thing, except for being able to pull magic from it. Sanzo has kindly offered to help me cleanse them every platform day, so the nightmares won’t build up too much. I have 10 currently made, and they’ll hang in string-basket-bags from the doorway of your cabin. The idea is 1 globe per cabin, and if you need something more personal, I can work with that or Casper can.
And mine should work just fine on their own? If they don’t, please let me know. I haven’t tried to make so many go at once... there might be some fine-tuning that has to happen.
Oh, and uh. If you’re worried about some other kind of mind-altering effects, it doesn’t do that. I can explain a little more later if you want to find me. Oh, speaking of finding -
[He looks over at Raven.]
We’ll be set up on one of the booth seats in the Standard car for a bit if you want to stop by and grab one. If you also want to help with buying supplies, or know more about other stuff to help, feel free to ask.
So yeah, one person from each cabin can come by and grab stuff. We’ll see you there!
[He waves and cuts the broadcast off.]
[[ooc; If you want to respond to the network post that works, or you can go straight to action. You don’t have to keep track if someone from your cabin already came over, feel free to tag in. Please specify if you have a preference for one or the other or both.]]

Yep!'
And sure. Of course you can.
Re: Yep!'
[And less than five minutes later, there's Bacon coming through the door.]
So, uh, I don't have the Bluerays or anything. I mean, I do, but they're back on Earth.

[Oh boy. How to explain it.]
One of the worlds we went was Questing Country. That's where I picked up this ability. With Champions and Adversaries and Oracles and Pillars?

[They take a deep breath, let it out.] Right. Okay. It's not like I haven't seen this scenario in science fiction before. If a multiverse exists, it stands to reason that works of fiction are probably also real. Didn't one of those Golden Age of Sci Fi guys posit it? God, what was his name? I'm blanking on it, but I know it's one of the ones where Abuelito has like a stack of his books.

... Ended up as the Oracle of Manipulation, at the end. Which surprised me, to be honest.

[That's... maybe something to watch out for with this kid. If the actual world follows the animated one, then titles are almost always extremely apt... but rarely mean what you think at first glance.]
We used to cosplay from it, back when my dads were around. Papa got me a white wig so I could be the Elven Liberator, while he was her sidekick for me. And Tia Charley would always do Charoite and Dad would bitch about the body paint, but he'd dress as her Oracle mentor to match, so I guess he didn't mind it that much.

[It slips out before he can catch it, and he blushes a bit.]
Wait a second... if - do you remember there being a Champion of Light? Little kid named Ace around eight or ten, from the Starquake era?
[He wouldn't be surprised i he wasn't there - Ace wasn't exactly a central player.]

[Casper grins. Oh boy, he's gonna have to explain this one.]
Sometimes the Arcana would basically shove our unconscious minds into natives of the world we were going to. That happened with me. I was inside Ace. ... Kinda miss the little guy. I hope he's doing well.

[He grins and nudges them gently. He's just teasing.]

[It's good that they're Bacon and not Tommie right now. They're used to casual touches from people who aren't close friends and family when they're an Ubastim. Not so much as a human.]

And I'm thirty-one so I've still got nine on you.

[He holds a hand out and a bottle appears in it, the temperature instantly dropping and the moisture in the air freezing to the sides.]
I ordered a few bottles of this just so I could have the occasional drink. Cold doesn't affect me, so it was the one elemental alcohol option that was really viable.
