kazoo 19 - video [cw; alcohol]
[Kerry's brand new to the train and already feels stupidly raw given everything his first day made him confront. He looks tired when he starts the video.]
So the shop's the best place to buy a drink, ya? I just arrived here but could really use anything that dulls the senses. Problem is, don't 'xactly got the cred yet to start tossin' it around on somethin' like that. [As someone who has spent the last five decades with enough money to get whatever he wants, Kerry finds this very offputting, but he's trying not to seem like a rich bitch right off the bat so he still just seems tired more than annoyed.]
Any way I can set up an IOU or somethin'?
Oh, um, name's Kerry, by the by.

He finds both Eurodyne and Samurai music. He's still too angry with Johnny to show off the music with his old band, so he completely skips over the Samurai music. His solo music, though, that he's more than happy to share.
He plays chromerock, which is a nice mix of popular rock styles and heavy metal. His music does tend towards experimental, as he has played with different styles over the years.]
Here we go. Wanna check it out? [He has several decades' worth of music to sort through, but he can start with his cover of Chippin' In to give Yondu a taste of music that's closer to what he might be used to.]
Good lord past me, I meant "getting up"
[It is better than he expected. It's not a huge surprise, though, and it's a pleasant one. He nods about halfway through, expression reading that it's pretty good. He's enjoying it.]
Ya really are pretty good. Y'know, I know you say you cain't do nothin' of the like? But I seen people use instruments as weapons. I would reckon you could literally kill with that thing if you was armed up right.
it's okay!
That'd be one bad ass axe.

[It's a lot better'n feeling useless.] And it'd give 'em somethin' to do. We're all goin' stir crazy between missions. I spend a good solid half my time in here.

We usually have to worry about battles n' shit though? Heard about the demons, but folks talked that they were unusual.

[Still is inclined to believe that.]
So that's where my brain goes. But a couple of the teams ain't much for combat. Blue an' Orange don't get into it much. [Which makes it funnier that he's blue team.]

Uh, that's a kind o' merc back home.

Back home I'm called a 'Ravager', so that sounds like the same shape of animal whether it's a little differ'nt or not.
[Like so many other things that conveniently lined up and made the universe easier to understand.]
Edgerunner's a pretty good name, though. Yeah, I'm usually a li'l' more rough than what Blue Team needs. You ain't wrong. I stick with 'em just in case.

Edgerunners have saved my life more than once.

[Though he perks up a little at having his credentials respected, even if in an indirect way. Being a Ravager doesn't always reward you with a great rep. He likes when people see the better parts of that kind of life.]

Edgerunners usually go to who pays 'em, but Morgan's also a friend of a friend.

[Way back when, when he had friends regularly. He probably does here, but not the same kind of friends. Almost, but not quite yet.]
So did either of 'em get ya? The contract, that is.

Popular 'nough now the corpos don't try ta fuck with me. When they care about PR.
