So the shop's the best place to buy a drink, ya? I just arrived here but could really use anything that dulls the senses. [As someone who has spent the last five decades with enough money to get whatever he wants, Kerry finds this very offputting, but he's trying not to seem like a rich bitch right off the bat so he still just seems tired more than annoyed.]

Too bad it wouldn't work here. Too many kids.

But the people here? Clients would have been out of this world. Literally, in some cases. It would have been great havin' some of these guys in a place where they could cut loose....

[His best friend, really. Doc was good for that stuff. King of trading cheap meth for bullets and guns. Murphy never partook but he respected the art and the bartering game.]

But still, he's there. I'm here. And no space that's not also child accessible...

Fuckin' A, that's a good fuckin' point. We'd haveta track it down and barricade a place so the kids can't stumble on.

Half the kids here are about as gifted as my daughter was so they'd probably be able to get through any kind of barricade.
