Good morning, fellow Voidtreckers! We've had ... quite a few days, haven't we? Floods, and fires, and of course that nasty mission ... it's enough to even make me feel bogged down and stressed. My apologies to all of our new passengers - I promise you, things are not usually quite so chaotic. So, perhaps some good news!
Because, honestly, who doesn't want an excuse to party?
My dearest friend Senku-chan - that's the fine young genius beside me - has asked for my hand in marriage, and I have of course accepted. I know a good deal when I see one, mmm? And everybody, everybody is invited.
You don't need to bring anything, or dress up, or do anything except show up. Really. We don't need anything.
Yes - see, where we come from, it's considered good luck to have lots and lots of guests to a wedding. So indeed, my friends, you don't need to bring anyone but yourselves and your appetite. There'll be cake!
And wine.
[Senku sighs a little bit at all of the fuss, scratching his ear idly, but he's there letting Gen have it anyway.]
Our wedding will be on the 24th day of Kazoo. We look forward to seeing you there!

I bet it'll still be great, I wouldn't worry too much. Lot easier buying that sorta thing, s'gotta be big! I like baking, but a wedding cake is different than making a tray of cookies or brownies.

I mostly bake bread, but I can follow a recipe if I want to be a bit more adventurous than that. I definitely couldn't make a wedding cake, I don't think.
