I have in more recent years, bailed from moving vehicles a few times. But definitely not something I would've thought of when I was a child.

[ He says this as though that is a completely normal thing to do. ]

Okay, it's great child you wouldn't have done that, but why did you jump from moving vehicles? More than once?

[ He snickers to himself and shakes his head and hopefully Gen didn't hear that, or he might get whacked on the arm for that one. ]

Testing various things to do with the car, to avoid the impact if control is lost, that kind of thing. Almost everything we make starts really disastrously and gets better over time. If it helps, it wasn't going very fast.

Nah, not really. I'm okay at dodging things. Can't take me into a fight, but I can deal with my own scientific experiments.

That's not bad. At least at this point in my life I know it's socially unacceptable to ask that.

It didn't bother me, don't worry. [Especially when they were kids. If anything it was one of the cuter things they did.] Now, it might if it came with insults, but I ain't been around a population that ain't mixed in a long time and this ship apparently messes people up in unpredictable ways.

I don't make a habit of insulting people anymore. Not enough people around to go picking fights anyway.

[ He sighs a little bit. ] It'd be nice if other people agreed with me on that. Ah, I mean at home. It's been mostly peaceful here. No one's tried to kill me yet.

Yeah, that's kind of a weird feelin'.

[He purposefully put himself in a lot of situations where people might want to, though. Senku doesn't seem like the type to intentionally lead that life.]

I'm not complaining about that, I'd rather they didn't try and kill me, that's just how things seem to be going. Comes with the territory of being the one in charge. Fortunately, I'm not dead yet.

That's true, it would've kept my attention at least, for awhile. I had a chemistry set at home. I was worried I was left here on purpose. Made me a little restless.

You didn't seem too stressed, but that makes sense. Any child that age would be stressed out finding themselves here all alone.
