Audio. Day 18.
[ Time for Peter to use the intercom again. ]
Hey! What's up newbies, I'm Peter-Peter Parker and I'm around answer questions if anyone has them. You can talk to me over here or always come and find me. I'm usually either in the dressing car, the game room or the cinema car. Chances are I'm not doing anything super important so it's probably okay to assume I have time.
I'm always down for a movie or a game-I get kinda bored easy. [ Part of him is still expecting Tony to cut in with a list of new chores but he knows he won't. ]

[ He might actually comb his hair for this and wear the polo in attempt to look somewhat nice. Why is he so concerned about his appearance, well he's not too sure because it wasn't like they said it was a date. ]
no subject
Because it's not a date. Of course not.
So she takes her time to head to the kitchen when she's finished, thinking nothing more of the feeling in her stomach than it being hunger. Spotting Peter, she grins. ]
Hey, Peter.

[ He grins back at her. ]
You look- [ Should he say pretty? That seems to forward. What was Aunt May's advice? Don't be creepy? Pretty sound advice. He's gonna run out of time on the non-creepy-meter if he doesn't say something soon, though ] -You look really nice.
no subject
Th-Thanks. [ She has to take a moment to compose herself, looking him over a bit as she does. ] So do you.

[ He says a little awkwardly before he decides he should maybe focus on making that mac and cheese. Before he makes everything even more awkward which he'd really rather not. ]

So she steps further in and hops up to sit on a countertop, making sure to stay out of the way of what he might need. ]
So, uh... [ Why does she feel like she's forgotten how to talk? ] What else can you make, besides spicy mac and cheese?
no subject
Um... spaghetti? [ He offers through a half laugh. ] Mostly just.. basics. I mean I can follow a recipe but that's-my uncle was always the real chef in out household.

A little bit is better than nothing. My mom's a really good cook too, but I have some trouble with it. I've been trying to learn to cook while I'm here, though.

[ he admits, moving about to get some water boiling. ] It's not too different chemistry I guess-they're both about balance. Just, you know, in chemistry I don't recommend licking the spoon.
[ ... ]
...Okay, that was a bad joke.
no subject
A little bit. But it was still kinda funny.
That's a good point, though, I hadn't thought about cooking that way.
[ She wasn't bad at chemistry. Maybe she should think about cooking more like that to help her out. ]
no subject
I tend to think of most things that way-in steps and stages. Which lends to all the overthinking I do on a daily basis.
[ He stirs the macaroni in the pot some to check if it's time to drain it. ]

[ She was learning to trust her instincts more, but it's a process. ]
