DAY 19 MONTH JELLY
Hiiii! I know there are some very competent builders and makers out there. I'm still finalizing my chores robot-
[Two little robot clampers reach into the bottom of the screen. They make little 'grabby' motions, then withdraw.]
-Everyone, say hi to Sandra! Sandra, beep hi to everyone.
[Sandra beeps. That probably means 'hello'.]
I collected some data from the last stop we were at, thanks to both on-site observations and salvaged scrap, and I've started to get a better handle on hard-light technology! Think of all the applications! We could make temporary protective shields when you don't have someone with those abilities around. Or even drones that can carry a holographic generator into a place where you wouldn't normally be able to access, and you could work on something through a VR headset. Or you could generate an illusion to hide a location while you rest and plan! And that's just a few examples. The potential for mobile field generators is endless.
But I need some help working out some of the missing information. Some of you even have your own version of that technology or have ways to adapt it to be compatible with magic.
[The links two tools together, because that's the way to symbolize compatibility here one would guess.]
I also wanted to ask some of the fighters what they'd want out of practice, if I were, say, to build something with very specific specs. I was talking to someone about that sort of thing and she's not wrong about training resources.

And can your creations withstand damage from intense amounts of heat?
Or even lightning?

First I think I'm going to need to put sensors in the existing dummies and see what people can do.

Where I come from it's simply a matter of demonstration and observation. But I'm learning a lot about technology in the last few days.

You need to retreat and refocus? You withdraw to a shielded location with an illusion while the robot keeps them occupied.
And now that I've seen loyal fighting creatures on this train, I've decided that I'd write it with a similar personality. Not just loyal, but happily loyal. A good girl that enjoys fighting and praise, and is endlessly patient when people fight her angrily.
[She's basically going to build a suped-up battle-monster, that is her plan.]

Your intention is to create artificial creatures, loyal and happy to fight and protect their masters without any risk of betrayal or treachery?
And they would be on par with our strongest fighters?
[This girl is suddenly much more interesting.]

[This is why Hordak started liking her in the first place.]
It's honestly good for me and some others, too. I can't fight, I just build. But when I do build, I make sure it's tough and durable.
I found myself at a disadvantage during the last mission. Not that I minded being protected by some talented fighters, it was great to watch, but emergency back-up is important.

[This girl is either insane, or smarter then every engineer from the Fire Nation she's ever met. Maybe both?]
What happened during the last mission exactly?

The master computer had some service bots that malfunctioned because of an invading corruption. I never learned as much as I liked, but I couldn't fight in any of the simulations because I'm not really combat focused.
An enhanced robot could provide cover while doing sensitive operations, or installed into a simulation system to fight as an AI.
Short version, bit magic entity's helpers went nuts and tried to attack us. We fixed it, but I couldn't fight back. A guard would help.

It's good that you're playing to your strengths, but even after you complete your "Guard" machine you should improve your own combat skills. It's best to be a well rounded woman in any occasion.

[She can stage some incredibly quick escapes with that hair of hers, and that doesn't fail her all that often. Fighting just isn't fun for her. Whether it's arguing or punching, she'd rather just be working.]
