[ VIDEO ] Backdated to 28th of Imagination - All Cars
[ The video flickers on, and it's Gen, smiling deviously, but looking over his shoulder now and again. ]
[ Making certain that someone is still distracted. ]
Good afternoon, fellow VoidTrain passengers! Isn't it a lovely day?
I don't have long, Senku-chan should be pretty distracted - but all of you who know him, he could have a sudden idea and want to share it at any moment.
This is for everyone who does know Senku!
The fourth of next month, best I can guess, is a special day.
[ He holds up a finger and says; ]
You see, my dears, Senku-chan has this habit of keeping a running count of each day in his head. Probably because our time, also, had no clocks! No strange train time going on there, just hadn't been re-invented yet, if you've heard the story from Senku you know why. I digress.
Doing the math, that should make the 4th of next month Senku's birthday!
And I would like to throw a party. I'm going to order a cake - I've gotten a few presents at that faire ...
Who's in? With presents! Decorations! Food!
... There's at least cake in it for you, if you'd like to join? But I believe Senku-chan has helped a lot of us here, and after such a time after being kidnapped ... well, he deserves to have a little party, wouldn't you say?

[Video] /seriously considers backdating investigating about SCAs at the Faire so she can 'gift' that
Count me in to help, too. Not sure you need any more offers on the cooking front, but if you want help organizing 'party favors' that he'd like taking apart or something, I can try to come up with something on that front.
he'll get another at the next train stop anyway, no worries!
I think he might enjoy that, so ... I wonder ...
[ A flash of light went off in his head. ]
My dear. Did the world you had been abducted from - did they have things people would call 'escape rooms'?

He's sort of treating the whole train like one, isn't he? At least when it comes to learning how it works.
But - you think we could make a smaller one, then? On a second floor of a carriage, maybe?
[She's trying to visualize it as they speak.]

But, yes, I was just thinking - if we made an escape room for Senku-chan, maybe to solve with a couple of friends, he'd love the idea. Lower-stakes puzzles for fun would really delight him.
And you seem particularly clever ... very well read, at the least! I'd imagine you've come across a few puzzles in your day.

That's true enough. Most of errantry is problem-solving, anyhow; some of the connections that happen in the middle of things are...
[She shakes her head in memory.]
Well, having him try to figure out why certain symbols and keywords are related would definitely keep him busy, I'll tell you that.

[ Gen looked thoughtful, like he's thinking up a few. ]

If there's one big thing wizardry relies on, it's math.
[Well, math and linguistic reasoning, really. A mix of both.]
But I'd like the help regardless on that front, if you're offering.

[ Claps his hands together. ]
This is going to be fun!
