Hello! So, Vee did that game where everyone got to ask it three questions. And I thought it seemed kinda fun. It would be a fun way to get to know everyone here. So I think it should be a game for everyone to play.

If you can do this.... Caw, ICP? Thingy. And talk to people. Let people ask you three questions and use it to get to know people! And even if you're the kind of person who doesn't care about getting to know people, it's still worth trying, because if we're all on teams and going on missions together, the more we know about each other, the better we can work together. Tactics, battle strategy, abilities, knowledge, strengths and weaknesses... And things like personality, history, all of that. The more we know about each other, the better we'll be.

I don't think you could actually DO something ugly. I mean, how would spring be ugly? Especially your spring?

[There's a hint of sadness in her eyes, but it disappears with a shrug of her shoulders] You're one of the few who's even seen my spring. Or some version of it. If you're used to cookie cutter springs, I imagine it might be slightly unappealing, all wild and all over the place.

[Cookie-cutter spring! Boring! Some wild and untamed chaos is just the ticket!]

You most certainly have. [Have the smallest smuggest smile]

I wish I had more space to do something like that here but we make do with what we have, right? Which is why I asked you, we don't have any other bodies of water on this train. Not that I couldn't make them in the spa pools but they wouldn't live long.

Yeah, and even these here aren't much, but we gotta work with what we got. Though I'd sure laugh if you crammed the spa car full of plants!

It's for ambience, obviously. Plants are very soothing.

As someone immune to soothing, I wouldn't know! But what you do is nice to look at. And my opinion's what matters!

[springforth]

Are you actually immune to soothing or is this another one of those reputation things where you're supposed to be immune to nice things?

[This question has never occurred to Zetta, and he goes silent for a full two minutes while he considers it.]

Isn't it tiring forcing yourself into the mold others make for you?

...Look, that question is really hard for me to even think about when I've been a freaking book for a couple of years. I've been laughed at, mocked, diminished, and ignored just because of this form.

[He might say it's hard to answer, but it seems to have broken a dam within him. Not that doing so is hard, since Zetta has no concept of restraint, but it's not like he TALKS about this sort of thing to anyone...]

So yeah, it's freaking exhausting living up to these standards I have. It'd be so damn easy to just blast this train and everyone on it to bits, then go conquer the nearest world. It would've been easy to take the entire Far Shore over while it was distracted, too. It'd be easy to just squish people who doubted me! But I'd always have to live with the fact that I took advantage of someone's weakness or cowardice or folly -- that I could only take someone on when they weren't at their best, not when they were at full strength. That's not something I can live with! I won't have that sort of allegation tainting my name and title!

[springforth]

[It's not really what she meant, if she's honest, but it's an interesting take nonetheless. She props her chin on her hand, listening intently] I guess I meant more the acting properly evil all the time but--I don't know, having honor about it, wanting things to be fair, that's not a bad thing. I get the urge to do what is easy, to make things simple by not doing things right. But showing control--you're a good person. I might not agree with your methods but I'm trying not to be a hypocrite about it.

[badassfreakingoverlord]

You're not a demon, so that's fine. You've got your own things you're supposed to do.

[A moment's silence, and then:]

YOU'RE supposed to do. Not what someone else tells you. You do what you want. Anyone who's on your side will support it. Anyone who's against what you want isn't on your side.

[springforth]

[She smiles, thin and a little sad, not up to her usual standards] Yeah, well, I think we're both dealing with others expectations of us. You might be a demon Overlord and I might be goddess of spring but there's plenty more we're not showing.

Heh heh, you definitely have plenty I haven't seen yet.

[Leer, leer, perv.]

[Eyebrow raise] Well I was going to tell you something but now you'll never know.

Hmm. You know, I think you'll tell me anyway sooner or later, because my biggest flaw as far as you're concerned is thinking you're hot as hell. That isn't so bad, is it?

[springforth]

Your biggest flaw is that you are overcompensating.

Wha -- I am not! How am I overcompensating?!

Any time a conversation goes anywhere near something soft or emotional, whoops, better be a pervert. Someone might think you have emotions, can't have that.
