[The feed opens up with... a far-too-close zoom-in on Enna's eye. But then once she's satisfied it's on, she leans back, and nods to herself.]
Hello! So, Vee did that game where everyone got to ask it three questions. And I thought it seemed kinda fun. It would be a fun way to get to know everyone here. So I think it should be a game for everyone to play.
If you can do this.... Caw, ICP? Thingy. And talk to people. Let people ask you three questions and use it to get to know people! And even if you're the kind of person who doesn't care about getting to know people, it's still worth trying, because if we're all on teams and going on missions together, the more we know about each other, the better we can work together. Tactics, battle strategy, abilities, knowledge, strengths and weaknesses... And things like personality, history, all of that. The more we know about each other, the better we'll be.
Ready? I'll start!

It'd be a lie to say you can ask me anything, in the interest of honesty.
But I was a soldier for ten years of my life, before I became a maintenance technician assisting a Martian terraforming project.
I have plenty of experience to share about military tactics and organization, areas which many seem to not have. I won't limit you to three questions if you have a genuine desire to improve yourself.

Mobile repair units are less elegant and far less technically demanding than military mobile suits, but the essential principle is the same.

Some people think they can purely act in the heat of the moment. Others, think that by understanding all the information ahead of time, they can perfectly outline their tactics and need not deviate.
In truth, the answer lies between. You can't simply react on instinct. And you can't simply rely on a predetermined strategy.
You must be able to improvise, adapt, and evolve quickly ... much like playing a game of chess during an earthquake.
And you'll fail in your first battle to be perfect at that.

Which type were you?
no subject
I did plan, analyze, and study - but once I was there, I simply reacted.
Melding what you know what is the correct action and what you feel in the moment is a complicated dance.

The first step they're solving for is the complete lack of a magnetosphere around the planet. Lacking that, any attempts to generate an atmosphere will be demolished by solar winds.

[ And now he wants to think about that for awhile. ]
What kind of stations do you have on the surface?
no subject
Monitoring stations, research stations, and developmental stations. With the process as slow as it is, there are many scientists who are arriving for the opportunity to study the planet as it is now. They'll probably also be monitoring how it changes over time, once the process begins in earnest.
no subject
Aside from scientist safety, are they looking to have a proper colony there?
[ That's what terraforming is for right? ]
no subject
Yes, eventually. Once the terraforming is further along. Some of the changes to the environment might make conditions violent on the surface for a short interim. Or at least that is one of theories presented.

[ He hums, wars cost a lot of money, or at least they did when they were dealing with a technology race, at the moment their wars didn't cost more than labour. ]
Ah, yeah, I could see that, trying to force the climate to change always has unintended consequences, regardless of the speed at which it happens.
Oh. I'm out of questions.

Why are there some things you don't want to talk about?
[She won't pry, but the asking of the limit seems fair, since it was offered.]

But most people usually don't mention that. It's usually assumed.
[Was he always so guarded...? Actually that would make a good question...]
What is it that you like to do to relax?
no subject
... Reading, lately.

Any recommendations?

[To a space nerd, this was obviously the most important question. ]

It is so remote, and such a harsh environment, looking down upon it - or standing on its surface, seeing the work to be done - instills as sense of awe.

Though, we've learned that none of us hail from the same place. Mapping your future's events based on my reality's past is likely futile.
