Hello, everyone!

[ Mami's standing at the ICP in the kitchen, and behind her it's easy to see that she's laid out some items on the counter. ]

The month's more than halfway over, and I realized we haven't taken full advantage of one of our culinary options this month! We have all the ingredients needed to make pizza!

[ Jazz hands. As a lover of all Italian cuisine...the basics are up there too! She then opens her notebook, and holds up a drawing she's done of a basic cheese pizza. ]

The best things about pizza are that it's easy to make, easy to eat, and customizable! We don't have the ingredients for every type of pizza under the sun, but there are lots of options! I've made a toppings bar and laid out some crusts if anyone wants to try it with me, and there's both marinara sauce and white sauce.

[ She holds up some of the toppings she's sliced: ham, bacon, onions, peppers, diced tomato, shrimp, bamboo shoots, various shredded cheeses...and pineapple. ]

I hope to see you! And...there are a few dear friends I'd like to see afterward, too.

Well that's all right. We all have our own abilities, and some can be taught. Like aim...I'm always working on that one!

Are you sure you don't want a slice while you're here?

[Which means he goes for the tomato sauce first with the presumption he's washed his hands before coming down here, spooning it carefully to spread evenly around the dough.

He does not need to be directed to the cheese, much as he goes back to staring at the rest of the ingredients afterwards.]

How do those bamboo shoots taste? I've- Well, I've heard of them, but haven't had them before.

[ Wormmon jumps a little - it talks back! - but then nods. ]

Mm-hmm.

Who are you speaking with, Wormmon?

[ Now you get the top half of a worm face and the bottom half of a young man face - oh, he's bending over, how nice of him. Both look curious. ]

There’s a trick to it! I’ll show you. [It probably helps he is a larger guy with big hands. But the small guy at the pizzeria back home had handled it just fine.]

Kitchen right? I can be there in a bit.

Bunch of really online people decided to make a Thing out of it. As for me...I mean, it's pizza. Almost anything tastes good on pizza.

"If only you were this eager for other lessons," the cane bemoaned.

[ Less surprised and more resigned this time. There's a long road between "friends" or even "getting along with" and "having no reason to fight", after all.. ]

But.. it won't give trouble, right? Are you guys friendly? I.. I mean, maybe you've already noticed, but Homura-chan is actually a really good person, you know..

[ She's there, and she already has the dough portioned out neatly.]

Oh, they're crunchy. Adds a little extra texture to it. Want to try one?

Oh...hello, friend!

[ She waves. ]

My name's Mami. I'm in the kitchen, making pizzas. I was inviting you to come along!

...I know. She wants the best for you. It's a little awkward for us given the past, but I'm going to try, okay?

[ She smiles thinly. ]

It just might take time.

Okay!

{ And she has a white pizza prepared, with a pile of shrimp waiting to be placed. Along with suggested cheeses. She's organized.]

Welcome, are you ready?

Mami blinks at that.

"...other lessons?"

[magicurls]

All right. Supreme, then.

{ Mami starts with a red sauce, the best cheeses, peppers, mushrooms, sausage (thank you again Hikaru) and bacon. ]

Something like this?

... Yes, please.

[He takes two - one to put on the pizza, like someone would a cherry on their sundae, and another he just outright crunches tentatively.

He looks surprised.]

It's... it tastes very fresh!

[A big compliment, given how much of the train's stores are, well, stores.]

He jumped up on the counter when he came in. "For sea food? Sea me here? Ready?" He asked with a feline grin.

"She is supposed to be training with Glorfindel, in the absence of our Master, to be able to use her spell cards without destroying everything that isn't her target," he said dryly.

Najaran waved that away. "That's when we're landed somewhere, not on the train, so now I get to learn about new yummy foods!"

Glad to be here! [He says with another grin as he walks over and washes his hands. He scrubs them down and dries them off.]

You can toss it or just roll it. But, I promised to teach tossing. [He studies the portioned our dough and takes in the whole kitchen.] I’ll use the middle one. Been a short while since I did this.

[ Oh, this is excellent news. Wormmon twists so he can repeat this exciting development to his partner. ] Ken-chan, she says we're friends! And there's pizza! Can we go?

I'm not much of a cook....
