[Minako was at least settled since she first arrived with it having been Day 4 now. Because of that she already had things on her mind and that was things others probably were not expecting someone to want to talk about.]

So... it's not been long since I first arrived on the train and I have met many people and it made me realize there are many good looking people on the train.

So I am now going to ask. Who do you think is the cutest man or woman, boy or girl on the train and who do you think is the hottest? Like you would have a massive crush on them hot.

[ Luke let out the biggest sigh. ]

How would that even work, Tony?

[ Never mind the Force, or anything dumb like being different species. ]

Both here and at home I'm in a position where I have some kind of power over her. How is that fair for her?

[Tony sets down what he was working on and immediately goes to find the young man. He's really grown fond of Luke over the last couple months they've been here and he felt guilty he hadn't pushed this issue sooner. It sounded like the kid might need it.

Coming into the game room, he was debating whether Luke needed a hug or not. However, when he was within arm's length, Tony instead reached out and very lightly bopped the silly man in the head with the palm of his hand.]

What's the matter with you?

[That question would've had a whole lot more bite to it if the tone wasn't so affectionate.]

[faithfulson]

[ Luke had been halfway to saying hello when he was bopped. Instead, he treated Tony to a pout, an action that probably did little for the current situation. ]

I was raised with a combination of farmer and military manners?

[He rested a hand on Luke's shoulder and gave him an encouraging squeeze.]

Which makes you a really great guy, but you're unintentionally being an ass here. I know it's unintentional since it's you and you'd never do that otherwise, but.. have you asked her what she thinks about that? What does she want?

Well... no, but...

[ Luke paused, before letting out a sigh, folding over the cleaning cloth he was using to wipe down the VR headsets. ]

Our situation is awkward enough, Tony. She's from a point in my timeline that hasn't happened for me yet. I don't want to make things any more complicated than they already are.

[runs_on_batteries]

[He sighed but besides that listened as Luke talked. When he spoke this time, it was a little more gentle. Not actually gentle, but more gentle than a moment ago like when he bopped Luke in the head.]

Luke, Ignis isn't even from my world. Technically I'm a dead man. You might be this or that where you're from and have complications, but when you have a chance to be happy you take it. Those opportunities don't come around all that often and there's no telling how long they last. What if Telli vanishes tomorrow? Would you think about all those complicated things or would you just miss her?

[faithfulson]

[ Luke frowned lightly at that. ]

Of course I would miss her, but... we'll see each other again?

[ Even as he said that, though, there was a lingering feeling of doubt. After all, they were already missing memories of some elusive training that the inspectors referred to. Who even knew what would happen to them when they ultimately left the train? ]

Look, it's your life and your decision. You have to be the one to make the ultimate call. If you want my advice though, it's to take a chance.

[He glanced at the rag Luke was using to clean with.]

And find something more fun to do.

[faithfulson]

We have chores, Mr. Stark.

[ He said that way too sternly; like he was the adult figure here. ]

[runs_on_batteries]

[He laughed and ruffled Luke's hair like he was twelve.]

Right.

[He chuckled as he headed for the door.]

Well, I'm going to go find Telli and see if she likes older men. Have fun.

[ Luke stared after him for a long moment after he left, before letting out a heavy sigh. ]

...what even brought that all on?

[He wouldn't really do that, he hoped Luke knew him well enough to know that by now.

However, the question had him stopping and his smile fading a bit. He even paused and thought a moment before just giving Luke a wise crack answer.]

Three reasons. You're family, Luke. I want you and Telli to be happy since you're both friends of mine. I almost lost Ignis a few weeks ago and got the same advice.

[faithfulson]

[ Luke jumped slightly at Tony coming back, not realizing he had said that loud enough to draw attention. He wilted slightly, giving Tony a look, before he let out a sigh. ]

I appreciate it, I do. But I have a lot of friendships, Mr. Stark. I can't imagine anything more than that.

[runs_on_batteries]

That's your prerogative, Luke. I'm not wanting to talk you into anything you don't want.

Either way, stop by my office later. I think I've figured out that motion issue we were having trouble with earlier. I want another set of eyes on that blueprint.

[He'd yet to successfully build an android on the train, but that was mostly a lack of materials problem. He might have figured out a way around it, but there were a few problems he wanted to prevent. Either way, it meant this current topic was over.]
