Just letting you folks know, but I'm a professional doll-maker. If you get me the materials for it, I can make dolls and stuffed animals for whoever you want. I can also use special materials to create ones with special powers. For example, with stardust, I can make a doll that glows or flies. Oh, um, since I make doll clothes, I can extend some of the skillset for that to larger clothes, but it's not my primary thing. Also, I don't currently have a sewing machine or weaving loom so that'll take longer.

If it might help, I found some bamboo in the supplies. I would be happy to grow some for making small looms or wooden forms.

From fallen stars. Though I know stars aren't the same everywhere. I've heard of worlds where they're giant balls of flaming gas.

That is... what I'm used to stars being. I'm used to flaming balls of gas and nuclear power and space travel.

Oh, like science fiction! Though in your case it's not fiction. I heard in worlds like those, the sun is the same as the stars, only more near.

It is. An appropriate distance from Earth to provide the right amount of warmth, despite the surface being about fifty-five-hundred degrees Celsius.

Space travel has been quite common for nearly a century now as well.

Wow, that's really hot. Anyways, the sun where I come from, I've met her. She's a pretty nice person.

Any material suitable for a doll will do, really. I don't just make magical dolls.

I can work with a lot of materials, really. Wood, plastic, metal, stuff like that. Stuff that would make for good doll hair. Cloth, something suitable as stuffing for stuffed animals. Those're just some examples.

No problems. Since you're supplying materials, I'll count that as payment. Normally I would ask for more, but since we don't really have money here, I can't exactly ask for that. Besides, we're all in this together.

The only thing I ask for is that you give me more materials than I need for the doll you're asking me to make.

Well, you'd want one that you can reasonably carry around in this train and fit through the doors without trouble. But otherwise I can make it however big. You'd have to bring me more materials, though.
