[ The feed snaps on and Peter and Gwen seem to be in the Gym. Peter’s sitting cross-legged on the floor, far enough back so that everyone can see him, off to the side is a bucket usually used for cleaning but in this case it’s filled with water. And Ice. Lots of ice. ]

Yo! Hey everyone, what’s up? Gwen and I were talking and we decided-to alleviate boredom-I’m not bored Mr Stark, don’t give me more chores!-we’d bring back some stuff from our world-worlds to help.

So what this is-is the ice bucket challenge. It's really simple and acted as a charity thing a few years ago so we’re gonna do it here. If you get nominated you either donate two bears to Mr Stark’s Teddy Bear Fund or you donate one bear and have a bucket of ice water dumped on your head.

We came up with this while I was poor and don’t have enough points so…

[ He gestures to the bucket of Ice Water. ]

[ Gwen is nearby, as is just a common thing with the Spider-Couple. Standing instead of sitting, leaning casually on the wall as she listens to Peter and nods. She has her phone in her hand and is scrolling through the music on it, but absolutely paying attention.

Just...give her one second and then she looks at the camera with an embarrassed grin. ]

Sorry! Yep! We figured...well, I figured it’d be a great way to build a bigger sense of community if we did something to help with the Teddy Bear fund. The original purpose of this, back on our separate versions of Earth, was to raise awareness for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and the money donated went towards research for a cure. So what you do, as Peter will demonstrate is dump the ice water over your head and nominate a handful of people to do the challenge.

Me, I just plan on buying some bears.

[ She’s probably not dumping ice water over her head. Maybe.

[ Peter chimes in, glancing at the water and then… making a face. ]

I’m totally gonna do this.

...might need some help because that water is gonna be really Effin’ cold.

But first uh.. I nominate Mr Stark, Gwen- [ He shoots her a grin. ] Kaito, Danny and uh Eva.

[ Gwen shoots Peter a look at being nominated, one that’s both loving and ‘you little shit’ at the same time. She adores her boyfriend, though, so she will eventually be doing this challenge. But for now, she’s going to help with the bucket. Tucking hre phone into her pocket, she heads over and picks the bucket up and then sits beside him. ]

If we’re doing this, we’re doing this together. We can manage it.

[ He does not look excited about this-why did they decide to do this again? ]

Oh man, this is gonna suck.

You’ll be fine. I nominate Ignis, and my bestie, Renee.

[ With that, Gwen hoists the bucket above her and Peter and with maybe two seconds of hesitation, dumps it out over the two of them and gasps as ice and water hit her. ]

Ohshit!

[ Peter curses as he gasps along side her. ]

Dude, you do remember that I have ice powers? I kind of feel like this is cheating.

Would you mind sharing what year the 'Ice Bucket' challenge is from, on your world? Mine has not yet experienced such a phenomenon, but the reason for it sounds quite grand.

No, I got that, but why? Why not just ask people politely, instead of trying to give people hypothermia?

[ Don't mind Peter as he just sits here and shivers because he's actually dying. Why did he thing this was a good idea? ]

[It's amusing, but she's hiding her giggles politely behind her hand.]

If anyone else is short on points, I think I can make a few. All I need is some scrap cloth.

[ Luke is so confused; of all the people that have joined and the things they've done, this is the strangest thing yet. ]

Isn't... there something more productive you could do? Like helping in the kitchen?

[ You know, like you purples should be doing this month? ]

[She's laughing, but also slightly confused.]

What's this about bears?

How many points are required for a bear? Or are we making them ourselves? If a bear is required whether you allow a bucket to be poured over you or not, this is important information for people to have.

[Confused why they are not just helping with food prep or dishes]

You should probably dry off? You have a towel over there, right?

[And at that he laughs.]

Point. I haven't actually heard of this one before. But I'll give it a try. For charity.

I already d-did my food prep. It's in the fridge, labeled and all. No one wants me actually cooking anything.

[ Luke lets out the most exasperated sigh. If the people that do this get sick, he's making sure they're quarantined and then giving them double work when they recover. ]

Your cooking can't be that bad...

[ No one is gonna get sick from doing this, Luke. Unless they just sat in the water for too long. Gwens already feeling warmer. She’s drying herself off as she talks to Luke. ]

I can promise you it is. I leave the cooking to everyone else because people need to eat.

[ He is still so prepared for it to happen, regardless. ]

Maybe some instruction on how to cook is in order then.

I see, this is how you repay my friendship!!

Okay, I'll bite. Gotta think of who I want to torment with my love-- [And here she snorts.] but you can expect a video once I figure that out!

Maybe. But purple team is so full of people, that we risk a 'too many cooks in the kitchen' situation.

I'm sure it's not that hard to organize shifts.

[ Gwen, you may try, but you are not getting out of this. ]

And I did prep while I was on my shift, so that people later didn't have to worry about it.

[ Luke just gives her a look at this point; one that clearly says, "You tried." ]

I'll see you in the kitchen tomorrow morning, bright and early.

[ That's already where she usually is, so it's not like he won anything just now. But that's fine. She kinda gives a thumbs up to him. ]

Sounds like a plan, Luke. Start me off small, though. I can manage pancakes and waffles and scrambled eggs and that's almost entirely it in terms of breakfast food.

It sounds like you already have a good grasp of 'small' things.

But don't worry, I won't overwhelm you.

As flattered as I am to be nominated for such a thing, I must respectfully decline. I also am requesting that none of the Blue team do this for we shall have to clean up. And then there's the sickness that may be caught and spread throughout the train.

[He pauses as he remembers that fiasco.]

And then if we're all coming down sick, we're in trouble. I will purchase more bears since that is what this is for. And if either of you two become ill from doing this, please come see me.

Ohhhh we're going down this road are we~

Don't worry. We're cleaning up after ourselves. We're not going to just leave it for anyone else. That'd be rude.
