[The feed opens on an extreme close up of Aelienor's face, as she evidently peers into the camera. After a few seconds, she backs off, showing her in a fancy looking outfit, with a sparkling creature flopped over her head, back paws on her shoulders.]

Alright, I think I got this thing workin'.

[There's an awkward moment as she clears her throat, before properly addressing the ICP.]

I'm Aelienor, and a lot o' ye prob'ly heard me sing last night. Well, I got another skill what might be more practically useful. I managed to get me hands on some real good materials wit' the help o' a friend an' a...let's call 'im an associate, so here's what I'm offerin':

I can sew, an' not just yer every day shite fer lookin' good. What I'm wearin', fer example, is protective clothin' what also boosts me ability to use offensive magic. There's only one o' me, so don't expect me to be stockin' full wardrobes o' gear, but I'm offerin' to spend what time we got workin' on clothes what'll protect ye an' boost yer physical or magical abilities.

If'n yer int'rested, ye can find me in the art carriage. I'll take whatever tokens o' thanks ye wanna offer, but the best way ye can pay me back is by not gettin' yerselves killed.

[The broadcast is obviously meant to end there, but there's a few more seconds of fumbling with an interface that's clearly unfamiliar before she manages to shut it off.]

[The broadcast definitely gets Lea's interest for a number of reasons.]

Huh... I've heard of that being done with bangles or accessories, but having it done with clothes is a lot rarer, and the magic is usually infused into the clothes after the fact, rather then while they're being made. Like for example, Vexen enchanted one of my train uniforms to be resistant to Darkness, and a friend of mine has a black coat with the same effect.

Most everything I've heard of- and worked with a bit myself- has been defensive stuff though. Stuff that gives you a boost to physical defense, or defense against magic or attacks of a particular element. How does the offensive boosting stuff work? And how do you do it with clothes? I only know how to work magic into things like metal, glass, and crystals.

Dunno any patterns what protect 'gainst a specific element. Though, if'n I were to try, it'd prob'ly start wit' cloth what's aspected to the Umbral...

[An idea for later. Focusing on individual elements isn't usually all that practical, unless she knows exactly what she's up against.]

Fer boostin' offensive attributes, ye wanna find the most aetherial conductive material ye know how to work wit' I know a few metals an' gemstones in that line, since I'll work 'em into clothin' designs.

Fer ev'ryday gear, that an' a good pattern fer guidin' the aether the right way fer damage or healin' will do ye. If'n ye want somethin' right powerful, though, ye'll also need to treat the material wit' an alchemical solution what helps align it to the specific sort o' thing ye wanna enhance. Doin' that, I can even make clothes what boost strength or endurance.

[The reply at first was just a close up of Gremlin's face, as he was the one who triggered the ICP. The he moved his head leaving a confused Najaran staring at the screen.]

"You... can make protective clothes that also increase my skills as a Cepter?" [she asked, stunned.]

"Be careful, Lady Najaran. Last time you gained power all at once you stopped being able to use your Cards at all," [Goligan warned.]

"I have to try. We have to stop the World Eaters!" [Najaran insisted. She looked back to the screen.] "I don't have anything to pay you with, but I can make a really yummy meal for you?"

[Her familiar is cuter. And presently moving to perch on her shoulder so it can sniff at the ICP.]

Not yer skill, so much. It won't let ye do aught ye don't already know how to. What it does is helps to focus the flow o' aether, so yer spells come out more powerful or yer body gets a boost.

A good meal's plenty payment enough. I can sorta cook, but I sure have been missin' real tasty shite what takes real skill to make.

"HER SPELLS?!" [Goligan yelled, startled.] "Lady Najaran, I must protest! Your spells do not need to be stronger."

"Would... would stronger spells... be able to stop the World Eaters...?" [Najaran asked in a quiet almost plaintive whisper.]

"You know you are forbidden from using your spells, Lady Najaran!"

If'n yer not so good at magic, I can do clothes what boost yer strength an' endurance, too. Just mind they'll be a bit heavier, gotta use more metal to get them right.

[Her clothes had never really mattered that much to her before. It was rare she got something new before she outgrew it after all. But this outfit had been a gift from a friend who was gone. And now she and Mina matched...]

[But they needed to defeat the World Eaters. So if this person could make her clothes that would help, she'd add them to what she already wore. or replace the parts from home, like her headband and belt.]

"Thank you. Anything we can do to beat the World Eaters... we gotta try... right?"

[Or she could keep multiple outfits.

Aelienor nods and absently reaches to rub her carbuncle's head.]

I've not been here long 'nough to know all o' the details, but I'm already in the business o' stoppin' things an' people what are destroyin' worlds.

"We have to work together to save everyone," [she agreed, nodding.] "Should I start to make the food first or do you need to do measurements first?"
