There are stories that are woven about her as she sleeps, tales of moons and dragons and birds stealing shards of the sky and breaking them into its feathers. Tall tales of mountains and small tales of crickets and everything in-between, clever foxes that learned to walk upright and gentle frogs that weave baskets out of grass. He keeps a steady stream of them going, until her breathing evens out entirely, and her limbs grow lax.
