"You're not that old," Soldat says with a blink, in part because that's the easiest part in all that to respond to. They aren't entirely sure if he's just talking about sex, or romantic feelings, or-- honestly, they only kind of vaguely remember what all of that felt like, anyway, and as much as it pains them to not be able to give someone what they need, Soldat has one limit, and too much touching is that limit.
