I lived in a mountain pass, through which the north wind blew continuously. The Pass of Aglon was one of the few passages through a chain of hills and mountains that stretched all the way across the peninsula of Beleriand, and that chain was the barrier between the cold northern plain of Ard-galen and the warmer, forested lands of south Beleriand. In the pass, it always seemed to be either raining or snowing, or both. I didn't mind, since I've always loved snow and rain, as I've said. I just dressed to keep warm and dry.

You said you liked the feel of the rain on the platform. Are you from a country where it rains a lot?

I'll do that tomorrow, then. I agree, the train ought to focus on working with us, and this is one of the ways it could do that. Weather updates!
