Magic. Course, should've figured.
[Obviously, he should have guessed. After being on the train for a while now 'magic' should just be a guess regardless.]
Sounds really confusing... but guess whatever you are now, magic, nobody... you can be whatever you want. Whoever you want.
Even a guy who likes dogs.
