[She had been considering this post for a long spell. She's seen friends leave, in recent months. Entrapta's departure pressing most of all. There are others here with the knowledge she wishes to share - but they might not stay for long enough. She might not be either.]

[The image focuses on her, sitting on her bunk, legs crossed. She has a short easel next to her, with large white bristol boards on it.]

Greetings, fellow train residents. I am Guri. Some of you already know that, but this video is made for posterity, in case I am no longer present on the train. Hopefully, it will remain in data storage. Now, the following are people from my universe - and near-variants thereupon - whom you should not trust, engage with, or allow any chance to infiltrate normal life on the train.

[She pulls off the first card, and behind it are a series of carefully drawn versions of men and women in uniform - olive, grey, black, and white armor. These are the various uniforms of the Imperial military. Standing aside from it are two uniformed figures, one all in red, the other all in white.]

These are the various ranks of the military in the Galactic Empire. A totalitarian regime that was in my time bend on galactic domination. By and large, they preferred brute force and terrified submission to cleverness, but are likely to be well-armed and capable combatants. These two...[She indicated the red and white] are exceptions. The white uniform is that of an Imperial Grand Admiral. Only the best, brightest, and most ruthless achieved this rank. The red is a high official in the intelligence services, dangerous for broadly similar reasons. Especially do not trust anyone named Ysanne Isard.

[She moves the card, and the next...well. Any resident of her universe will recognize the two central figures - Darth Vader and the Emperor. Around them are various members of the Imperial Court.]

These are the high members of the Imperial Court, or at least the moment prominent. Here, however...is Darth Vader, chief enforcer of the Empire and extraordinarily dangerous. A fallen Jedi, or Force-wielder, his physical and mental powers are immense. Do not engage unless in a powerful, concentrated group. His master, the Emperor...was even more powerful, according to all known accounts. He may not be overwhelmed by a sheer show of strength, and in the case of encountering him, retreat and fortification upon the train is recommended.

[She moves to the next slide.]

This is a Hutt. Do not trust any Hutt.

[She moves on, to one of a green-skinned man.]

This last is Prince Xizor, my erstwhile master. Full disclosure: in case of his encounter, I will be terminating him or otherwise permanently incapacitating him on sight.

[One last slide, showing a wide range of figures, all of them bearing red lightsabers.]

These are various depictions of members of what is termed the Sith cult. They are dark force-wielders, generally very clever, and thoroughly murderous. They may not appear like this on the chart, but the red lightsabers are fairly consistent. They are duplicitous; even when overwhelmed, they cannot be trusted.

[She nods.]

An excellent point. Perhaps I will work on something more thorough for guaranteed preservation. For the moment, even a small announcement is a start.

Mmm, this isn't the first time I've heard about the Empire and Jedis. And I heard about that Darth Vader guy being around too.

Wonder what the chance is we'll bump into any of them?

Hopefully very small - but one doesn't know for sure.

A Jedi, on the other hand...it depends which one we get, I suppose.

We've had a few on the train. But... is there anything to worry if we had a mission against them? They sound like the kind of people we'd be sent to help. Those Empire goons go after them, don't they?

A mission against...Jedi?

[She frowns at that.]

If they are of the fallen variety? Yes. Absolutely.

Well, I figured that's what this was all for, right? If we ever ended up in a mission against them. But the Empire sounds like a way bigger problem we'd face!

Oh, Jedi are reliable allies unless fallen - they tended to have very strong sense of morality and extensive codes to ensure their behavior. The Sith, on the other hand, are believers in violence often for the sake of it, and to constantly increase their own power.

And...yes, they would be. To give you a sense of the potential problem: the main fleet ship of the Empire was the Imperial-class Star Destroyer. Over a kilometer long, packed with weaponry, several squadrons of smaller fighters. At its peak, the Empire controlled twenty-five thousand of those vessels. That is merely one facet of what it is.

It is fracturing now, where I'm from but...it is still exceedingly dangerous.

Eesh. Big. [ To say the least. ] Dunno how we'd face up to something like that. I don't even know where Empires fit into what we do. We dealt with some virus that went around a land and some weird orbs that I think were from space, but...

[ Well, they also picked a side when it came to those people and the demons, didn't they? It's difficult to think about though, and Tidus shakes his head a little, sighing. ]

If we bumped into them, it'd need to be some stragglers, by the sound of it. Or some of those Sith Jedi? The...fallen ones. [ If he's followed her correctly. ]

If we worked as a hit-and-fade force, I believe we could be quite effective, even against substantial forces. Besides which, I have a vast number of their codes and other information in my internal databanks - that would be an advantage in and of itself.

It's more to be aware of who and what they are...some could put on a very good show of being, well, entirely normal.

As for Fallen Jedi, or Sith - it is apparently a distinction? - there are tactics and weapons that can be effective. The key is not letting them close the range.

'Cause of the Force thing, huh? That...power. Like telekinesis? Moving things around? I've seen a few use it. What kind of gear do you have for something like that?

[She nods]

It is a thorough set of powers, yes. And unfortunately, I have nothing. I can produce schematics, but cannot produce them.

Schematics are...like the designs of things, right? [ If that's the case- ] You think it'd be cheaper to buy the pieces to put them together than buying the things through the shop already built? We have that 3D Printer - or I know a few guys who'd be into building things, probably.

[ Probably. He'd have to ask, but if he's following her correctly... ]

[She thinks about it.]

Yes, I do. And that could work - I could certainly keep a weather eye on components in any suitable destination.

Okay! Theen, there's Devero and Quatre - they're both on our team? You know them? And Senku and Seto. Dev's got a bunch of numbers for a name on the roster, but everyone else goes by how their names sound on there.

They build things - I heard Seto and Dev made some cool holo-tech with Entrapta that's in the armoury. And Quatre's built machines that move around in space!

If they require help, I would be glad to donate it. I am vastly stronger than I look, and have experienced many advanced technologies.

You mean in general? Dunno what Dev or Seto are up to, buuut - me 'n' Quatre were talking about if he can make suits. We have these devices, see? They let you jump from any height or go really high, and he was thinking it'd help make any suit move around better, whatever its bulk.

If you know about machines like that, that'd be handy! All I know's the stuff I see in movies.

I have some experience with practical machinery, yes.

[It's almost a joke. She's working on those.]

I am also far stronger than I look.
