Hurt a couple people outside of that too... when I was trying to get out of this mess. [He offers a bitter smile.] Turns out going straight to drowning yourself pisses a lot of people off. Who knew, right?

And even before that... I've lashed out at a lot of people. I know it doesn't mean I'm not trying, but I'm tired of there being casualties along the way, I guess.
