There's a huff, a caught sound before he shakes his head.

"So those guys were assholes, and I'm not saying that wasn't bad - it was. I don't know what it's like for people to come at you like that, not personally. But look around you, the people you're with here. How many worlds there are, the other people that exist."

He brings a fist to his chest. "You have to deal with that hurt, but you can't forget - that's not all there is out there. You have friends here - who cares that you're not human? No one worth knowing!"

He's getting excited, his voice raising, and Tidus takes a moment to calm and take a breath, quiet. But his voice firm when he speaks up again:

"There is a place out there for you. I believe that." He frowns, a sympathetic look creasing his face.

"I'm sorry those assholes made you feel like this."
