Lea was surprised to see Taiki up and about- sort of- so soon after such a rough mission. He'd been meaning to check in with him, but expected him to be out of it for at least another day or so. And when he took the hands that Taiki extended to him, he realized that he probably should have been, and frowned slightly in concern.

Taiki's hands didn't feel cool to him. This wouldn't be so odd, except that Lea's affinity with fire meant that his normal body temperature would qualify as a low-grade fever for most people. So if Taiki's hands felt the same temperature as his, or even a bit warmer... "Given the circumstances, I should be the one asking you that," he said. He touched his hand to Taiki's forehead too, just for confirmation. Yep, he was definitely feverish. "Shouldn't you still be in bed? I know how rough missions are for you normally and this one was a doosey for everyone. And I know you shouldn't be the same temperature as me."
