( Here it is, in the evening after platform is now behind them, and Wei Wuxian is... reaching out. To all y'all. )

To those who offered to help with running illusion training, I've drafted a schedule to run through for a first session. Miss Spider, I'm more than happy to come to you! Curufin Fëanorion, Young Hero Casper, Caleb Widogast, Zewu-jun, Wen Sizhui, you make up the rest if you'd like to come to me, though Casper I know we're still seeing how it'd work.

( Then he claps his hands and smiles at the camera. )

To everyone else, we'll be using half the training gym on Merriment Three from morning to mid-day for people wanting to continue or begin training in illusion recognition and breakthrough. It's about time for another mission to end up falling into our laps, so best prepare as we can, ah?

( Lowering his hands, he only pauses to again shake a finger at the screen: )

There are also eleven extra pendants in illusion resistance I had made from people's donated extra crystals! If you'd like to borrow one for training purposes or mission, ask myself or your Team Lead. No promises on effectiveness as of yet, but they may help.

( Cheery wave and then off goes the camera!

ooc: Given how much will be going on wrt mission coming up, at present I'm not planning to put this particular training log up and would say handwave it: this is likely to be ongoing if Wei Wuxian has his way, so future sessions (probably in non-mission months OOCly) will have logs! )

Mm, it doesn't innately link, but it can help to clam the mind for you to start picking up on what your other senses are telling you. With your meditation, did you gain any awareness of the energies of the world around you?

( Which is the more relevant part, but for Wei Wuxian, meditation is about controlling and recognising those energies, specifically. )

Then we're happy to have you at the training! Is there any specific kind of illusion you had more trouble with, or are they all challenges in their own ways?

It was the kind of training for drawing out your own energy? ...never really thought about it for focusing on other energies.

[ Then again, just focusing on his own was a job enough. Not so bad now that he can work on it while doing more than sitting around, but-! ]

Well, I don't know how good I'm at telling what's real and what isn't if we're dealing with illusions like that. You know how that one cave worked and we had to really figure out which stones were real and which weren't? I'm no good dealing with that!

I just want to get going, you know? All my concentration goes out the window.

Mm, it's best to start with recognising and circulating your own. In theory, I'd expect spiritual pathways to be consistent across peoples, but that depends on the logic of my world. I'd need to try circulating qi through your system to know for sure, and frankly, I'd better trust any Lan Wangji as you'd call him to help check first. Once you're aware of your internal energies, learning to sense the external ones, and eventually take in those external ones to combine with your internal energies isn't impossible. Even if you're not fated to be a particularly strong cultivator, it can improve any one person's body and health in its own ways.

( To supremely simplify it all, but as a man without a golden core, he's not going to tell people who may also not have one they can't make use of cultivation--just not in the way those with golden cores could, should they train for it. )

Mm, then the exercise for you is also in patience. Rushing through things is tempting, but until you have the skill and strength to do so, you're incapacitating yourself. I know the impulse, I felt similarly when I was younger, and boring as it is and as much as it makes you itch to move, the learning is annoyingly valuable and important.

( That last part he says with an audibly lighter tone, and a half quirked grin. He is, after all, the guy who also helped train all the youngest kids through many tasks that required exactness, repetition, and patience. Wei Wuxian might have been selective with said patience himself, and have little tolerance for things he found nonsense or bothersome, but he knew the worth, and practised it far more than he was generally credited with outside of close, immediate family. Side consequence for also making... his fair share of rash decisions. Ah. )

[ ...Wei Wuxian you are a smart-sounding man and therefore, a lot of that just flew over Tidus's head after a point. Though he does recognise the name 'Wangji', so there's that for him to hold onto as the other guy continues to speak.

His patience and ability to focus sure isn't helping him here now, where he's sluggish in knowing what to speak up with once Wei Wuxian is done. None of what the man saying not making sense, but the information being a heavy sandwich for this simple guy. ]

Okay... well, I can do that. And uh- I know Blue lead's Wangji? He's cool, if he's gotta check me out. [ Was that a part of the training process, or just with energies in general? ...his brain isn't good at thinking about too much at once! ] Then I'll come and do whatever's the plan! I'm not that bad at meditating. Just as long as I've got stuff I can do after!

[ And also depending on the length of time it's happening for, how often, and that he's in the right headspace for it... ]

( He says this cupping a hand around his mouth and leaning forward. He's aware enough anyone could watch by looking at screen, it just isn't something he thinks any of the Lan Wangji's on train are going to mind, one way or another. )

Strangely popular as I am with the train, Lan Zhan is even more so. Though from the sounds of it, he and... another me are married anyway in various worlds that follow a slightly different pattern of, ah, events than I know. I am, sadly ( nothing about this man looks sad when he says this, holding a hand to his chest; ) pure as snow.

( ................................................ you know, as long as being a demonic-ish cultivator wasn't considered an impure thing )

So no continuing love stories between you and Lan Zhan in a different life? [ Should he use Zhan? Is that still Wangji? He'll just say that because it's being said! ] Kinda disappointing the romancers on the train! Wonder who your story's gonna lead you to?

[ He's playing it up as a joke, obviously, but even more at the end there, not wanting to make it too awkward. What was it like knowing you got together with the same guy over multiple...realities?? Thoughts Tidus will have for a minute later on and then try to stop thinking about. ]

You really have to ask... ( Lifting his head, looking somewhat amused: ) You do realise until this platform there was another married Wei Wuxian here, also to a Lan Zhan, also not from the particular accounting of events I lived through. But you know, romance and marriage aside, we all seem to have an even deeper relationship, ah?

( Here he looks a touch helpless. )

Where you're from, do you have an idea of... how to say, I don't know that translations work here for it. Someone who sees you, who knows you better and more deeply than anyone else, who is closer than a spouse, who is singular to you in meaning and importance? I say soulmate, but people here assume that means something romantic; it's deeper, different, not... passion. It's all encompassing. It's being known, and knowing someone else in turn. Lan Zhan is that person to me, no matter what world, no matter what romance or marriage does or does not exist. Those things, they're secondary, ah?

( Those things, they don't have to last. Being seen, being known, stretches across lifetimes in a way that neither one of them would have guessed, or planned, or even wanted, in a different world. )

Though you may want to stick to calling him Lan Wangji, unless you like seeing him freeze up. Hahaha, I don't know if anyone else on train calls him Lan Zhan other than Zewu-jun. ( A pause. His eyes light up, and he wags a finger at the screen. ) Hey, hey, wait, I got it—you have a crush on Lan Zhan!

( NAILED IT! Totally. Utterly right in all ways. Taking no criticisms. )

[ Truthfully, Tidus doesn't know the bond that Wei Wuxian is describing, but being a rather sentimental guy at heart, while it's unfamiliar, he can appreciate the relationship it encompasses. Do relationships like that regularly exist? It sounds deeper than anything he's ever had with another person.

( Wei Wuxian is visibly managing to restrain laughter, though his smile's a touch too broad, to those who know him. Likewise the slight squint of his eyes is an indication of his amusement, and while he schools the smile away, he gives Tidus the most solemn shake of his head. )

You seem really concerned about Lan Zhan's love life, and I, for one, appreciate your sincerity. Besides, feelings like that are so precious! May you go on to fulfilling loves after that springtime in your heart!

( Is he explaining how names work? No, not yet, not unless Tidus asks again, he's just rolling with this teasing because it amuses him more to do so. )
