Yeah, that’s a known cliche back home. I’m not sure how much that’s actually done anymore, given how known it is, though.
[Then as an afterthought:]
Thankfully I haven’t solved any cases where the butler actually did it, but the closest one was when the victim’s personal assistant did it.
